Juve -> De Ligt -> Chelsea -> Azpi Alonso -> Barca -> De Jong -> United -> Ronaldo -> ?????, Bayern -> Lewa -> Barca, Us - Sterling, Ake -> Chelsea, Chelsea & Barca both after Raphina. Bayern also linked with De Ligt.
Where are Real? Sr Perez. Dealing with the wounds inflicted by PSG keeping Mbappe again. And us getting Haaland.

Have we been linked to Torres ?Reading this thread a few aren't too thrilled with Pau Torres but he is an interesting option. Downside he is part of Spain's World Cup squad and would still be looking for game time leading up to Qatar.

Every time I've seen him play he impresses me less and less...I just don't see the fuss over this guy...Reading this thread a few aren't too thrilled with Pau Torres but he is an interesting option. For 4th choice he wouldn’t sign.For 4th choice he would be good. More realistic than the usual names banded about.
The more I think about it the more I want us to spend like £25m max on a replacement, but ideally less than that. Makes the most sense to me. 4th choice CB is not a position you want to over-invest in. Better to use it elsewhere.

I don’t understand the meltdown. He has started 19 league games in 2 seasons and was absolute dump in at least half of those. He cost £40m and at no point has he looked like he could be a long-term replacement/alternative to those above him in the pecking order. Nothing against the lad but he wasn’t good enough for us when we bought him, and he isn’t good enough for anything more than a bit-part role now. Making a profit given we vastly overpaid for him is nothing short of a minor miracle. Snap their desperate hand off.
