last two months of last season was very stressful week in week out - so really enjoying just basking in the comfort knowing we are champions for the time being. all that stress will soon kick in as soon as season starts - i think it gets more so each year, particularly going for 3 in a rowIt’s now day 51 since we last played and I can’t wait for the new season to start.
Never realised I would ever miss football this much.
I think we may be setting up for a record breaking season and Alvarez and Haaland will be the headline makers, at least that’s what I am imagining.
Blow your whistle ref!
Arsenal twitter saying they working on Zinchenko deal as an alternative to lisandro Martinez
@tolmie's hairdoo said the other day Zini will be playing in multiple positions on the left hand side, so I doubt he will be leaving
I hope he is staying, but plans change all the time.
Plans are the same, Pep would like him to stay and say there will be games in midfield and out wide, but still all up to Zinny.

A new improved contract offer might help any decision making. He has deserved one, and it helps set a fee for him should he want to move later on.
I think we will sell Zinch IF we sign a replacement for Ake AND sign Cucurella. We'd have many players who can play on the left side (defence, midfield and attack): Cancelo, Cucurella, Grealish, Foden, Gundogan (mid), Bernardo (mid), even Alvarez (attack). There's a chance that we sell Zinch even if we don't replace Ake, provided that we sign Cucu.
If we sell both Zinch and Ake, then even if we sign Cucurella and a CB, our net spending may be negative (at least for the calendar year).
Anything on ake tolmie? Do u think he will stay if not will we replace him??I certainly don't think he is on big money, right now.
Even if we give him a decent bump, it recognises his contribution and acceptance of not being a starter.
Huge fan of his, technically excellent, we would struggle to replace him for the £35m or so we could get for him at present.
I love the fact he refused to give up on making it at City and hope he stays for his career.
I don't think we can sell him unilaterally.
We are headed towards net profit whether we sell him or not. Could well end up with it even after signing Cucurella and replacing Ake.
If we then let Zinch go, we'd still be a FB down going into the season, and without replacing Raz have 2 free spaces in the squad, which would be our smallest squad yet. Can't see that myself.
Zinch won't play much if we sign Cucu and Walker is fit. He didn't play many minutes last season, imagine his minutes this season if we sign Cucu! Also, the EDS LB is a talent, he may get more minutes this season.

Do you think we’ll scrap the Cucurella transfer and buy someone that can play both lb and cb if we sell Ake?Quite apparent a dialogue is taking place and that would only be continuing if Ake had also given his preference to go to Chelsea.
We have put a timeframe on it, which means we want enough time to bed in a replacement.
If it was about money, Ake could always try leverage a raise, but it does seem to be more about playing ahead of the World Cup.
Coupled with it being a former club and still playing Champs League, it seems an easy option for him.
I'd go as far they would even try convince him to stay if he did want out
Pep has plan to play him as winger next season.
As long as we get Cucurella signed then I’m not overly bothered about Ake going, we will have decent cover and I think finding an experienced pro at tail end of career to come in to be 4th choice centre half won’t be too tricky, should we decide that spending decent money on a new defender isn’t feasible.Quite apparent a dialogue is taking place and that would only be continuing if Ake had also given his preference to go to Chelsea.
