Who knows Pep's plans?
Not even Pep knows his own plans sometimes!!

I would doubt it. City will buy an orthodox left back, whether it be Cucurella or someone else.
Still expect Cucurella to get done at a premium.
I’d like to think the only delay on Cucurella is getting Raz announced, similar to how it was with Jesus & Phillips.I would doubt it. City will buy an orthodox left back, whether it be Cucurella or someone else.

I fucking hope not, that’s what I am concerned about.
Exactly, and I could have told you that a month ago, not rocket science, that’s what a top drawer full back gets priced at. Whether we can chip away with a £45mil plus add-ons or something of that ilk remains to be seen.£50m seems to be the number Brighton want? Hopefully if Ake goes then it’s done quickly and we can have his replacement sorted.
That’s good to hear, didn’t like the idea of replacing mendy and Ake with one player.I would doubt it. City will buy an orthodox left back, whether it be Cucurella or someone else.

I think concerned was the wrong word, I’ve every faith we will do the Cucurella deal, just prefer it done sooner rather than later.Don't be.
Cucurella is waiting on us, we have told him to sit tight for a few more days and then we will be there for him.
Ain't gonna be cheap, though.
Guessing £50m plus add ons.
Raz getting confirmed I’d guess. That’s good to hear, didn’t like the idea of replacing mendy and Ake with one player.
We’ve heard that City are ready to meet Brighton’s asking price for weeks now, I wonder what’s holding up the deal.

I know City like a couple of the defenders at Leicester and they aren't named JFE.
Justin and Fofana have both been looked at, but both are predominantly right-footed?
Justin is a full back though isn’t he? Was Fofana the one who got his leg broken?
I think it’s best for alot of poster’s sanity that we don’t go for JFE again.I know City like a couple of the defenders at Leicester and they aren't named JFE.

Fofana is excellent, can’t see Justin being an option as he’s a fullback. Soyoncu isn’t overly dissimilar from Ake in style, but he’s lost form over the last couple of seasons, we did look at him as an option a few years back.I know City like a couple of the defenders at Leicester and they aren't named JFE.

Fofana would cost a bomb though wouldn’t he?
Very much doubt that, wouldn't make much sense.
Think Pep trusts academy players to step up if we have injuries. With the likes of Palmer, McAtee, Delap, and other EDS talents our squad isn't small, especially if we sign both Cucu and a CB this window. If we have problems, we may sign players in January.
If Zinch prefers to go, we'll let him go. We won't sell him against his will, though, this I agree with.

Doesn’t really matter if we want them at cb. Having one left footed and three right footed cbs is fine.I know City like a couple of the defenders at Leicester and they aren't named JFE.

Anyone in mind? I get the feeling the "gvardiol/kounde" names are off the mark and it's gonna be someone closer to the profile of a salisu (though likely not him per se)And another centre back.
