Leipzig have done very well out of selling their CB's in recent years. I imagine they are always on the look out for the next one to bring in and develop. Could be something more immediate in it though.

Depends on if whoever they are looking at would go there to be 4th choice behind Gvardiol.

By all accounts they want 3, they have lost 2 senior CB's and only have Silva, Sarr and Chalobah remaining.

Chelsea would be a stronger side with Kimpembe over Ake, imo. He can be a bit rash but I still believe he's a bit underrated.

I disagree, surely with the bigger bench and 5 subs it makes perfect sense to keep him as we will also be adjusting the way we play due to Erling?

I think bringing in a top left back is the priority.

If we can sign a replacement for Ake then great but if not, we'll just have to hope that Dias, Laporte and Stones stay injury free. Let's not forget that one of them will be sitting on the bench.

We have mbette, walker, rodri can all play there if needed.

All of those are "we've got no other viable option so this is what we will have to do" solutions not a "this guy can play 20-30 times a season for us at CB" option which is what 4th choice is.

Fwiw (which is probably very little), I’m hearing different to Pol regarding City going after Cucurella. Just been told we’re moving for him now Sterling is complete and not waiting to see what transpires with Ake.
