I've found every player in the squad so far - ederson, ortega, walker, cancelo, zinny, dias, laporte, stones, ake, rodri, phillips, bernardo, KDB, gundo, mcatee, palmer, alvarez, mahrez, foden, grealish, and a few youth players too. only one not in any of these pictures is erling

Fatigue and injuries still build over the world cup, was my point. You almost make it sound like we only have a couple months to get through and then world cup is a relief. Players still play, and fixtures are condensed to squeeze it in.
 
So, if we are getting this Cucurella guy, what's the plan for Zinchenko ?

I still think that there is not that much difference in terms of quality between these two..

Maybe Cucurella is better defensively, but Zinchenko possesses the ball better, knows Pep's system better, plays better offensively and is more versatile..

And also 50m is too much, FFS we sold Jesus for that money and Haaland fee was 60m, we are getting robbed here :(

My point is that if we don't sign a cb to replace Ake its not the end of the world that some people are predicting before the window opens again in January.

If two of Stones/Dias/Laporte picks up minor injuries during the world cup then we won't be flapping about who's playing in Central defence because City won't be playing so in a way its a relief.

Think his point was get through to mid November then only 1-2 matches until transfer window reopens should the situation merit.
