How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

Cometh the hour.....

Oven ready Brexit.

If Brexit is so unpopular now - then why not take measures to rejoin the EU?

Or, on the other hand, is opinion on the matter still divided to such an extent that this is impossible?

I'm from the USA where we face a far Right movement in politics as exhibited by voters for Trump.

In America, Trump is still hugely popular among his base. In fact, bookies think that he'll be our next President (I agree) in spite of his obvious attempt at insurrection and other criminal actions.

Is Brexit in the UK so different? An honest question - because for me, it seems to be the same. In other words, the bulk of the UK that voted for Brexit in the first place would vote for Brexit again - in spite of what's transpired.

No, Leave would never have won another referendum. But the unrepentant Leave voters are still numerous enough to make a difference in seats Labour needs to win. So we're in a Brexit purgatory where the road to salvation cannot be taken but we can probably stave off the brexit devils' attempts to drag us under by even more antagonism of the EU.
