If we do sign him, there won't be "Dancing in the Lanes" that night.
Football fans are all the same, irrespective of who they support.
A "bigger" club comes along and takes your best players. The "smaller" club's supporters vent their frustration, generally against the bigger club. It's human nature to do so.
We're a "big club" now, but cast your minds back around 15 years., when we hadn't a pot to piss in and sold our best players to make ends meet. At least Brighton have financial backing - we didn't.
Fair play to their supporters, they're defending their team - just as we do.
We've all been there - it's now our turn to be at the top table.
Long may it last!

What rubbish. Where was the average Brighton fan venting our frustration when we sold Bissouma.

Brighton are dreaming if they think we are paying £50m in one go. Leeds got a good fee for Kalvin Phillips.

Brighton can ask for what they want and our bargaining position is hardly going to be strengthened by getting rid of our only left back.

Realistically, the only leverage we have is that we can just go for a back up option who will more than likely be an inferior player.

But we tend to pay little less and the rest is made up with performance based add on. That works more times than it doesn't. I have got the feeling we have already agreed.

Just get this done city so we can stop hearing from the stupid Brighton needle fans who get giddy at making a profit and finishing 16th every season

Isn’t he of ‘unsound character’ though, allegedly?

I’d imagine you were delighted to get rid of him.

I know if anyone offered us even a tenner for Mendy, I’d be fucking ecstatic!

No one wants men like that at their Club.

Apart from Spurs, apparently!

Ben White to Arsenal at £50 Million, Curucella is far better with more Potential.

I say I think for all Albion fans we want him one more season, but if he goes before we will wish him all the best luck.

but don't think Bloom will sell him under value down at "Lickle Brighton!"

We wished Biss all the luck on his move to Spurs, we have however Caicedo and Mwepu in the centre who I think will become better. Be careful also claiming his character to be something its not, he was cleared of all charges and could be seen as highly litigious
