Went to the game with the added bonus of booing Spurs & Harry Kane & it worked nearly all game bar a 5 minute spell where he put us to the sword. :-(
 
I watched the last 20 minutes of the first half and second half.
All Spurs the first half Rangers missed a sitter in the second half.
A header from a defender.

Think Big Souttar struggled today benny, got caught out of position a couple of times and struggled pace wise to get back.

True. He'll be fine against most of the SPL teams i imagine. Hoping Davies brings that extra bit of class on that side mind you.

Plenty to look forward to from what I've seen so far though.

It’s shaping up to be a right set too. You have been given the kiss of death though. Hugh Keevins backs you to win it. I’ve ordered in the Champers on the back of that. **** couldn’t pick out a lion sitting in a line of seals. Are you away to Livi first game?

Fuck all to fear here Gunner. Two chances and your defence looked like a sive. No fast incisive passing moves from you. To read the press you would have thought it was Barcelona back in the day. Souter as slow as a week in the jail and mid to front nothing to worry about. Spurs should have scored 4 or 5.

We could have scored 1 or 2 more ourselves, but yeah Spurs contained us pretty well in the end, and in Kane & Son they have 2 world class attackers. A Conte team can do that, just ask the City fans on here.

West Ham by their own admission were awful. I don’t think any of your mid to front players would get in our team ahead of our players. Not one. I was expecting fast flowing crisp passing and movement. Saw nothing of that. Did see you get cut open by good forward passing, Hatate, O’Reilly and McGreggor can do that. Maeda and Kyogo are fast as fuck. Jots can take you on. I will just say I haven’t seen any evidence of you being better than last year. We will be. Jenz looked the part to improve us defensively. Which we desperately need. Front to mid we are rapid. Let the show begin.

We've got Ben Davies and the young Turkish left back to come in to help strengthen the defence.

Like I said, yesterday was against a first choice Spurs team, they play 343 and Conte knows how to organise a team to be hard to beat and play through, then they hit you on the break with their 2 world class attackers.

We wont play anyone with that quality I doubt this full season. You can't say when we play well it's because West Ham were awful, and then when we play a top side like Spurs and don't win say its because we were awful.

At the same time, your judging your perfomances vs Banik Someone, Blackburn, Legia Warsaw, Rapid Vienna and cannon fodder Norwich, and a couple of them you could only draw. I'm actually a bit surprised you've chosen so easy a pre season, I thought you'd want to be properly challenged with the Champions League coming up.

As far as I can see you have the same players in midfield and attack as last season, so there won't be any surprises. We started to nullify that in the cup semi and last league game. I'm not saying we'll be favourites or anything, but it's going to be a close thing I reckon.

I will be close but we had three Japanese players running out of steam. The team are a year longer together. Fresher. I am just saying I wouldn’t swap any of your mid or forwards. You have lost Aribo, big player in the middle. Now all this could turn to shit, but it won’t. Our defence is our Achilles. That doesn’t get better we could be n trouble and not just the CL. But it will. As I always say, time will tell. I’m confident but not overly so as I have been around long enough to know fuck all is a cert and I never ever underestimate you cunts. Even when I think we are better you are always worth the watching and capable of fucking us over.
