Many years ago (1978) a group of us went to Knebworth to see Genesis.

Suitably driugged and boozed up, Tom Petty came on. Never heard of him.

He was brilliant, and I've loved listening to his music ever since.

June 5th 1978 Birmingham Odean Black Sabbath supported by a little known and up and coming band called Van Halen, by far the best band on the night! They came back on stage for an encore, David Lee Roth stood there and said they didn't have anything else rehearsed to play so did "You really got me " for a second time.
