offering £30 mil when Brighton valued him at £50 mil was utter stupidity imo, was never gonna work. Selling our only ”proper” lb before opening negotiations with Brighton was very naive. Waiting until a week before the season starts to find out Brighton weren’t actually bluffing and now we are having to find a suitable back up with the season starting next week was also naiveWith all due respect, you have typed utter codswallop.
In what way have we handled the transfer ‘very badly’ ? Do care to explain ?
We don’t value Cucurella at the price Brighton are prepared to sell him for and therefore have walked away from the deal (correctly in my opinion). If we paid 50 m for a full back that’s achieved nothing in the game and had one good season (even then only managed 1 assist all season for an attacking full back) we’d be a laughing stock in the market.
You sound like a spoilt child that can’t have another shiny new toy.
The business we have done in this window is incredible so far.
Hahahaha. Did you support Chelsea or something 15 years ago when they were buying a shiny new toy every week of the transfer window ?offering £30 mil when Brighton valued him at £50 mil was utter stupidity imo, was never gonna work. I don’t want a shiny new toy I want a fucking left back. I don’t think expecting the club who constantly talk about competing for every major competition to sign a full back so they aren’t left with 2 senior full backs to be spoilt tbh. It’s the bare minimum.
We have done some good business sure but we have also weakened our squad, as it stands the starting eleven is probably stronger but the squad is arguably weaker. Wouldn’t call that incredible business tbh.
Its like some won’t have a bad word said about the club. It’s pathetic. The club have not handled this well. The fact you judge a full back by how many assists they get tells me a lot tbh. Guess Walker is shite then
What’s that then? 50? 55? If they want 60? Whatever they want?Just pay the money. The alternatives are all whelming to say the least.
I think the clappers would like that very much tbh.So no point anyone posting anything other than saying “good job City”?
yep that’s it mate. The club never make mistakes. I guess we should just close the forum down then as no point discussing anything as seemingly its all perfectly in hand.Hahahaha. Did you support Chelsea or something 15 years ago when they were buying a shiny new toy every week of the transfer window ?
The fact you think you know more than Txiki and co about how to negotiate a transfer is an embarrassment.
How do you know we are now ‘having to find a new full back’ !? Do tell me ??
Maybe Pep (as he has stated more than once) is happy to go with what we have. Don’t tell me you think you know more than Pep too ?
Moron.
Kinell ! You sound like a rag.Just pay the money. The alternatives are all whelming to say the least.
Shiny new toy? We have two senior fullbacks at the club. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for now but if we end this window without buying another Txiki and Co should definitely come under some criticism. It's ok to say we make mistakes sometimes, we're not the dippers. With all due respect, you have typed utter codswallop.

Anybody questioning Pep or Txiki is a moron. Sorry. It’s true.yep that’s it mate. The club never make mistakes. I guess we should just close the forum down then as no point discussing anything as seemingly its all perfectly in hand.
Resorting to personal insults to. How lovely. What a charmer you are.
You think Txiki deserves criticism for this window ? hahahahahahahaShiny new toy? We have two senior fullbacks at the club. They know more than I could ever wish to. But to act as if they are infallible is just stupid. Everyone makes mistakes and if we don’t sign another full back then yes despite what the club think or don’t think I believe it is a huge mistake.Anybody questioning Pep or Txiki is a moron. Sorry. It’s true.
Did you even read my post? You think Txiki deserves criticism for this window ? hahahahahahaha
Are you headline writer for the Liverpool Echo in your spare time?Losing yesterday might help Pep get Cuc. Cancelo gave Salah the freedom of Leicester yesterday. Not winning the CS highlights how much we need this position to be sorted. Hopefully the board have more impetus to get the deal done...
“ if we paid 50M for a full back thats achieved nothing or had one good season “ etc
You mean like WE did with Mendy
Thats correct. The club and Txiki are perfect and its not possible to do anything better. Even if you think the club and Txiki are doing great in 95% of all areas, if you suggest that there is room for improvement in the remaining 5% that can only mean you are either a Chelsea fan, a rag, or just a simple wum. At least its proven that you are without a doubt not a City fan, since no real City fan would ever have the audacity to suggest something the club does could be done better. Txiki obviously knows better than any of us, so that means none of us could have an opinion thats anything but 100% positive about what he does. If you think he did a great job with signing Haaland, that automatically means he is also doing a great job with signing a new fullback. Just like we cant complain about our players performances in any game either, since they are all better footballers than us fans, we have no right to have anything but positive opinions about their performances. Anyone who suggest Txiki could or should have done one thing better is obviously a complete moron, as everyone knows, all smart people blindly believes everything another human do or say is perfect.yep that’s it mate. The club never make mistakes. I guess we should just close the forum down then as no point discussing anything as seemingly its all perfectly in hand.

Which most were happy to do at the timeIt could’ve been when they threw 100m at villa for jack grealish.
