Not sure how Colwill is going to convince Cucurella to join ChelseaChelsea will offer Colwill as part of a deal I would imagine as Brighton have been interested for a while.
Can he actually defend?Lodi seems available?
We'll know shortly they brief pretty quick when they've left the table if other teams are still at it.![]()
Chelsea are exploring a move to beat Manchester City to Marc Cucurella
EXCLUSIVE BY CRAIG HOPE: Brighton's £50million asking price has seen talks with Manchester City stall and sources say Chelsea have now asked about the Spaniard.www.dailymail.co.uk

I don’t think Chelsea have anything to beat in terms of City. I think we have gone.
It's obviously not the only thing that matters if they're (now) wanting over £50m and we deem him overpriced as we'll walk away (and by all accounts already have). It works both ways.Disagree, we paid Grealish release clause because we wanted him and Villa wouldn’t accept any less. We may feel we can still negotiate here or if it’s become too much just walk away. It’s like me walking in a shop and thinking a thousand pound telly is worth 500 quid. We obviously have our own valuation of him but the only thing that matters is the sellers valuation

Message to all ambitious football players. If you want to have control over your future prospects then make sure you have a reasonable release clause in you contract, otherwise your future may not turn out as you wished.City have left Brighton high and dry with an unhappy player who only wants City and now they are desperately trying to drum up interest so they can save face and bin their unhappy player.
They won’t be paying it’ll be their new Wally owner flashing a £50 pound note then realising they don’t have the money and needing to refinance again.Chelsea spending another 50m on a full back. Ruining football I say!
ALA Bayern Munich, we are learning fast ;)City have left Brighton high and dry with an unhappy player who only wants City and now they are desperately trying to drum up interest so they can save face and bin their unhappy player.
This. Chelsea will be refinancing in 12 months. They won’t be paying it’ll be their new Wally owner flashing a £50 pound note then realising they don’t have the money and needing to refinance again.
lolLet's turn the table.
Did Bloom really think City would pay 3x's+ what Bloom payed (£15.4mill) for him on the 31st of August 2001.
Get real Bloom!
I kind of hope they do waste £50m on a player they don't need when their squad has more holes than a slice of emmental.Chelsea wouldn’t/couldn’t pay the asking price for Ake or Kounde, not a chance in hell they pay £50m for Cucurella
