I'm not convinced Cucu's better than Chilwell at LWB (Chilwell was terrific before the injury), and at LCB he will be a bit too short to be a big success there. They will struggle at set pieces. Rudiger is a beast in the air, Koulibaly and Cucu ain't replacing that.

They are all over the place one week they are trying to buy centre backs the next week its full backs or midfielders. They’ve lost a striker and bought another wide player. They won’t finish above us ,liverpool or spurs. A fight with arsenal for 4 th despite spending a fortune.Maybe not
But Chelsea really haven’t got a plan
Basically your can’t attract who you want so you pay over the odds to get anyone you can in the door.

Well that is obviously a matter of opinion. Players rarely move clubs for their true valuation.

like you said that is a separate deal. you paid 52.5 mil for someone worth 35 mil max and had half a good season.Brighton are paying £20-25m for Colwill in a separate deal, with a buy back clause of £40-45m. Don’t feel that is Chelsea being rinsed.
