Borna Sosa

Watched some tape and asked some bundesliga buddies about Sosa. This is what I got:

Positives:
- Crosses
- Passing
- Pressing
- Attacking Space
- Overlapping runs
- Ball manipulation

Negatives:
- Tackling
- Defensive recovery
- Very one-footed
- Marking
- Stamina
- Majority of injury issues are either back or knee related
We just let our left back go that had much better Skill check list than this guy. It’s a no for me. Let’s face we don’t make many mistakes in the transfer window but this could be one of them.

Tbf, I'm no scout lol. Just my opinion on him.

I don’t know if it’s just me but I always take the prior injury history with a grain of salt. Sometimes it’s simply bad luck and maybe I’m deluded but I view city’s medical staff as a cut above most others itw. They seem to invest a ton (as I know most clubs do) in that specific area so I have much more confidence with someone coming over with an “injury history” than maybe I should.
I take mine with a dip of Sosa Salsa.

Smart business from us , Cucurella didn’t meet valuation , we walk away with a potentially better deal if we get another left-back.

Eh, I think there's a difference between walking away from Harry Maguire because you're going for one of Koulibaly, Kounde or Dias and walking away from Cucurella to buy two players who nobody had heard of a few weeks ago, one of which is probably being bought for another club.

Time will tell if we do good business (or any at all) when it comes to buying a left back but that Twitter post is a bit silly.
