It's Quiet 17 - Glory Thread

Cancelo requires quality minutes at left-back.

Especially so, when other clubs aren't yet privy to what our intentions would also be towards a Mendy acquittal?

When we agreed the sale of Zin, we essentially told clubs we need another body in that position.

If Zin had been told to wait patiently for his Arsenal deal to be concluded, we may have afforded ourselves some breathing room on both a replacement and price.
With regards to Zin and cucurella fee that’s floating around I don’t think it really would have mattered if he stayed longer. As much as I hate to say it, I’d rather wait to assess options in January or go for a quality rb and give cancelo the freedom on the left

I’d be happy ”converting” Aké into a leftback now with mostly shit leftbacks left on the market after Cucurella, because defensively he is very solid and he’s quick. My one concern is his (in)ability to attack. His attacking stats aren’t exactly glamorous.
No market is a shxt market.

You’re wrong. If we needed another Zinchenko, we would never have sold him. He wanted to stay. It was pretty obvious in his last speech. The club’s ambition was to replace him with Cucurella and that would have been a massive upgrade but the clubs tactics failed. This time.
No, it was pretty obvious that he was sad to leave, that's not the same thing at all.

He's more proven than Cucurella and also has the homegrown benefit.

In a World Cup year, Chilwell needs to be playing and getting his fitness up.

I'd give them their money back?
I was thinking this earlier, isn’t he good mates with Grealish from the England youth teams

Wouldn’t be signing a guy who’s just returning from an acl injury, not until he’s proved himself again. I’d take him on loan but nothing more than that.

Penny for Chilwell's thoughts?

We tried to sign him previously and would not mind us chancing our arm.

I would even try a cheeky bid for Luke Shaw if it was lower than £20m. He is running down his deal.
Have you been on the sherry? £20m wouldn’t even feed the useless fat **** for a year. Running down his deal, did you mean bunging down his meal?

We are betting alot when we Sign Gundo from dortmund after his supposed injury career ending, sure the price is cheap but we're still betting alot back then there's no guarantee on him to play us for many years after injury like that. Fortunately the bet is paid off.

Ake would contribute zero going forward as a left back , the same can be said about Stones playing full back , we really are playing with fire having only two full backs .

Chilwell definitely. I mentioned this a few days back. Think he would be a good buy. I know he’s coming back from injury but I reckon it may be a risk worth taking.

Luke shaw. Leave it out.
