Fucking hell we might aswell give up now. The criticism is way OTT. The squad is stronger than last season and bar 1 defender we are set to challenge again. We have just signed a world beater and yet still want to criticise the club. Pep will have them playing the way he wants. Fuck all to do with not signing 1 full back or letting Zin go.

As bad as Zinchenko was imo. We now have 2 fullbacks to try and stay fit over a season which is going to be made more difficult by playing a World Cup in between. Stone and Laporte who have had more injuries than enough and a few untested kids. You think it’s over the top to think we are short and we have to keep our fingers crossed that our only 2 fulls stay fit and we escape more pressure being put on our centre halves though injury. All this and we still having money in the kitty.

Well , the club as we are praying for pep to cast his magic. Wait until we start losing some games for pep out chants.

We should atleast Sign a back LB, doesn't need to world class. If we don't ,We are literally stretching the squad to it's limit. We should have kept hold of zinchenko like we did with ake

Maybe Pep is thinking that due to world cup, first half of the season can be played with the smaller squad

Cause it will be a looong and tiresome second half

And we may spend big in Winter transfer window

Because none of us know how well he could do if Pep decided to play him more at leftback. He has all the traits to play there, except attacking skills. If Pep can coach him right, who knows?

Honestly nothing happened today and yesterday’s report, in the main,
is still the news on the transfer forum.

Rumours of more players leaving. Bernardo being linked with PSG in addition to Barcelona now. Paqueta mentioned as a possible replacement. Barcelona rumoured to be stating they will bid for Bernardo before the window closes. La liga saying Barca are still €150 million short of being able to register the players they have already bought.

Full Back Situation: No news…we still only have 2 and no new links at all anywhere. All a bit strange.

Another nothing day as City concentrate on the first match of the season though Pep has been reported as being more than concerned at the balance in our squad. Pep mentioned there maybe a few surprises before the window closes. He also said he hopes Bernardo doesn’t leave and accidentally called us Barca! Pep was asked if he was happy with his smallest squad ever..better to just watch the video! BM analysed his every word ;-)

2 days to the start of our season.

The window closes 11PM on 1st September (25 days left)

We play 16 premier league games before the break and all our group ucl games. I don't think it's that.

Look at the season we didn’t get a CB? How did that pan out?! We’ve won the last two titles due to the genius of pep and the players adapting to systems that no other team has done before at times? Pep said himself over the last couple of seasons that every big club needs a top striker yet we didn’t get one? It’s fallen into place now with Haaland but the LB situation needs addressed as we have played midfielders there and a RB??
 
While De Jong is great player, it's never good idea to bring the player that doesn't like the city of Manchester and it's weather.

And besides will he agrees to move (swap deal with Bernardo) to Manchester the place he doesn't like it much?, i don't think so.

Think he will get stubborn to stay with Barca, no matter how much they want to rid him.
