They’re unbelievable. I had no idea that they had done that. For anyone who isn’t aware…
Barcelona claimed they had raised 667m from their “levers”.
When La Liga examined this, they discovered that when Barcelona sold their future TV rights to a company called Sixth Street, they actually formed a third company called Locksley, and Barcelona paid 150m to Locksley on top of the 517m from Sixth Street to buy the rights from Barcelona.
They paid a shell company 150m (which would be amortised over the 25 years) so that company could then pay them 150m more for their tv rights so it looked like they raised more money this year.
Now they are at least 150m short of registering 7 players.
I also like Maddison. Thought it was just me.Come on, he is not that bad...

I actually wanted us to get Maddison instead of the other guy we ended up signing, no need complaining over that now but I think Maddison is a very good player.I also like Maddison. Thought it was just me.
I don’t like playing against him and I don’t think that a lot these days.I actually wanted us to get Maddison instead of the other guy we ended up signing, no need complaining over that now but I think Maddison is a very good player.
Would there be any working weekends or Bank Holidays involved?I think Raz wanted more money that we were offering. Whether that is down to KDB/Haaland is open to debate.
I think Gabby was more about playing time, but also because Arsenal we reportedly offering more than we were.
As you say, maybe because we didn’t want them to stay enough, or maybe because KDB was getting more than they were being offered.
Whenever the wage ceiling is increased, all players want more. Why wouldn’t they? It’s their job, after all. If you were offered £50k a week more at another company, you’d go 99% of the time.
Perhaps that’s the issue, or maybe they wanted 15 weekends off a year.Would there be any working weekends or Bank Holidays involved?

I said yesterday it would be great if they couldn't register any of them.Barcelona have the money to buy these players give them there wages but not register them Because of the wage cap!
They could have 4/5 players sat in the stands start of the Spanish league if not sorted…
Dembele is already registered, think you mean Kessie.I said yesterday it would be great if they couldn't register any of them.
I've thought about it and actually think it would be better if they could register just 2 of them. Then they would have to explain to raphina and dembele why they aren't as important as lewandowski and kounde.
Dembele isn't registered because his contract ran out so is treated as a new signingDembele is already registered, think you mean Kessie.

no he isn'tDembele is already registered, think you mean Kessie.
No I think your post was good. I was just suggesting you may feel better getting it all out in the open lol.I know I sound a bit mad, but was my last statement really wrong?
I've been using forums and similar avenues long enough to see this happen with extremely high levels of frequency.
It's not always the fault of the person replying as they may have just not seen the earlier bits of a discussion and "jump in the mention" so to speak without the context, which is understandable.
You'd have to have the time and energy to go back, and most will never bother often for good reason.
Now this is good newsWhats all this, Gavi tells Xavi he will not renew if Barcelona sign Bernie.

Gavi tells Xavi he will not renew if Barcelona sign Bernardo Silva – report
Barcelona starlet Gavi turned 18 yesterday, which meant Barcelona can officially tie him down to a five-year deal with the senior team. The Spaniard, so incredibly talented, did not even have an extended stint with Barcelona Atletic before becoming a regular with the first-team. In fact, his...barcauniversal.com
