good question, also worth asking why our academy doesn’t provide that many first teamer. Yes I know we produce plenty to sell to mid table clubs but I would like to see more in our first team.

Matches being disrupted by medical emergencies are actually just down to awareness in dealing with them now. There hasn’t been an actual rise in cardiac arrests but clubs are more sensitive of it. Years ago I was at a Rugby League game when someone collapsed but the game simply went on and the medics/stewards would have to work around it.
