I thought we played well. We had the hardest fixture out of the top teams & it was the first game of the season so everyone not quite at peak levels yet. Apart from 2 mins at the start and about 5 mins second half West Ham barely had the ball. I'm very happy with that overall.

Two pieces of quality from Haaland wrapped the game up. It was great to see someone take such a good penalty.

We basically played that game without fullbacks. Walker played cm for 85 mins. Peps doing it AGAIN. Genius

Sometimes because it's the first game and the heat we were sloppy and below standard, but out standard is so high even that blew away West ham who we dominated.

Rodri, Haaland and Ake were extra special and we looked comfortable and dominant

We absolutely domnated them and the Hammers are decent at home.
We look scary good already and Haaland will scare centre halfs to death when he's fully dialled in.

Couldn’t be more pleased with that. Very tough away day to open and we basically cruised without really going through the gears. Bittersweet however as I may have to divorce Vinny K so I can marry Rodri. He’s just incredible.

Professional start to the season. Håland's excellent debut, thought Rodri was very good, as well. Good to see Phillips get a few minutes, while Alvarez always seems sharp in/around the opposing team's penalty area to me. Nothing to complain about here, really.

the best thing about Haaland’s 2nd goal is that he gave the goalkeeper and the whole stadium three seconds notice of exactly where he was going to put it as he shaped his body. And he still tucked it away. He is sublime

I think Haaland showed the benefits of a deadly striker. a game like today can often result in frustrating performance and struggling to find a goal when you don’t have someone like that.
