Wha they don’t tell you is that you have to pay extra to use the Kits bar in the east standI’m gonna lie down under one of the taps mouth first with the tap switched on if we win.
| Bournemouth Sat 13 Aug | No ticketsavailable | BUY |
| Crystal Palace Sat 27 Aug | £120per person |
in for a treat in the east stand and south.
the dj experience is great at feyenoord on matchdays hopefully its the same success at city
What have they done to the bars in 241, they take out the busiest bar and now the rest are rammed so much your struggling to walk through and in the heat today what should be the coolest in the shade is horrendous, forget about the free water top ups, you’ll pass out before you get served.
Good job the football team is fucking brilliant, there would be riots.
It's absolutely disgraceful what they've done there without any consultation and I don't see it improving any time soon. Yet they've renovated the south stand concourse area so those that are paying half the price will be getting a much better experience.
City have only done it because it's a wasted space/void. It now makes money.
We've been asking for it to be used for more bar space for years.
As for what we're paying, it's relative to where we stand and our view of the match.
You pay more because you sit high up and get a better view of the match.
Don't blame us for the club investing in SSL1.
I don't mind the club renovating the South Stand concourse just making the point that it seems unfair that other parts of the stadium have had their bars and entertainment taken away with no prior warning. If you'd seen the scenes at 241/242 today you'd understand what I mean. Shambles doesn't even come close to describing it.
That’s where I am in 242. The concourse, or lack of, is truly awful. An overcrowded bottleneck.I don't mind the club renovating the South Stand concourse just making the point that it seems unfair that other parts of the stadium have had their bars and entertainment taken away with no prior warning. Depends how it’s done. I’d imagine it would be more like city square/ cheese fest.
What was it like in there today?
Thanks for your insights JRB, I can only reinforce the concerns above in regard to 241/242. We sit in 201 where the concessions have been removed to facilitate a corporate bar, which means that the nearest bar and food are from 241 and further away behind the goal. My personal experience was that I queued for 35 minutes from 2.15 onwards. Finally it was obvious we would not get served with either drink or food. I do know Danny quite well and I will be transmitting this to him, any others who had problems, there were a lot, please let me know and I can reflect their views.Maybe you should send an email to Danny Wilson, explain your experience, frustration, and concern, and ask him if it can be looked at and addressed. And ask him if there are any future plans to invest in the concourse where you drink and eat.
