Haaland must be fuming
yup....there have been numerous occasions that through balls have been on and he hasnt got it...not just the obvious one with foden but also Kev, Bernardo and foden on another occasion.

More of a case of us playing the first two games against teams that were a few levels below intensity as that is newcastle.

It’s obvious that newcastle are out there to play high press football and they have a point to prove it seems. So we have to step up instead of passing the ball around yet leaving Stones trying to keep off 2 sometimes 3 players.

This is the type of game where Fernandinho is missed. Rodri has to do better here.

Let’s see how we will reshape for the second half.

Attack hasn’t been good, but Rodri is a problem. We need legs in midfield. We’re losing that battle every time. Go two defensive midfielders and get control of the ball. Then out with Haaland and in with Alvarez.

For a start get Walker out of midfield. He doesn’t have the ball control and it leaves acres of space down the wing. I’d also either move Bernie back into midfield or take him off.
Can’t argue with that & would solve most of the issues

One of those days. Newcastle will be at 2nd half. Hopefully we can snatch a draw bu gut says 3-1.

If Kevin puts away that one on one, or Phil squares it to Erling, it's two nil, game over. When you miss chances like that, they start to believe. Kyle has been pathetic, but it's hard to be too harsh on him because the guy is 32 and never gets a fucking rest. Another 50 games for him this season.

Kalvin on for Phil.
He's just as guilty as phil...haaland ran back post for the type of pass kev makes blindfolded...they are trying to not get overshadowed by an elite player coming in, and its already becoming obvious imo.
