The hollow vacuous persona that is Moron is totally owned here - a shock jock who fails to shock with any effect because he fails to do any research
Morgan is a tosser and always has been but the other guy’s tactic seemed to be moving the goalposts and trying to get Morgan to remember names of everyone involved in every issue and if he didn’t it didn’t happen or doesn’t matter.
He couldn’t name one in any area, barring the mystery novelist.Morgan is a tosser and always has been but the other guy’s tactic seemed to be moving the goalposts and trying to get Morgan to remember names of everyone involved in every issue and if he didn’t it didn’t happen or doesn’t matter.
Morgan didn’t begin by talking about cancel culture specifically, he was talking about “woke” people and the Proms thing was just an example of that, which also could be described as cancel culture but that wasn’t the main point they were discussing.I viewed this differently.
Morgan’s argument stemmed from the position that cancel culture is a huge issue. Whereas O’Brien’s was the opposite. The onus is surely on Morgan to prove his case.
The fact he was happy to state how loads of people have been cancelled but then couldn’t name any shows a huge flaw in his argument.
And the person in charge of the Proms. He couldn’t name one in any area, barring the mystery novelist.
The Proms thing didn’t happen and is a good example of Morgan howling at the moon at stuff that has been mooted to happen to create faux fury. And the person in charge of the Proms.
I stopped listening half way through at that point as didn’t like either of them.
It didn’t happen because they u-turned after backlash. The Proms thing didn’t happen and is a good example of Morgan howling at the moon at stuff that has been mooted to happen to create faux fury.
“Set to happen” = was never going to happen, but allows shock jocks to rant and rage, before “common sense prevails”.It didn’t happen because they u-turned after backlash.
I remember it was set to happen.
Well if it was scheduled to have not been part of the Proms until the backlash then it would have happened without the backlash.“Set to happen” = was never going to happen, but allows shock jocks to rant and rage, before “common sense prevails”.
This happens quite a lot with these kind of stories. Thank goodness the shock jocks are there to stop things happening.
Ok mate. Keep on howling. It helps Morgan stay famous.Well if it was scheduled to have not been part of the Proms until the backlash then it would have happened without the backlash.
I don’t watch it so wouldn’t have made much difference to me but it does mean it was a legitimate point.
The Guardian, shock, was running a story just before it about how Land of Hope and Glory and Rule Britannia are rooted in racism and slavery and should be dropped or had the name changed.
From my view there’s two minority groups on either side stirring this, on left and right. The left side writes crap like the above and the right pretends it’s a bigger issue than the other more serious issues like Covid (at the time) or the cost of living crisis now.
Pretty immature reply to be honest mate.Ok mate. Keep on howling. It helps Morgan stay famous.
Whatever I say, you’ll ignore as you’ve preformed your opinions, negating the need to watch the second half of the interview etc.Pretty immature reply to be honest mate.
You seem to be agitated.Whatever I say, you’ll ignore as you’ve preformed your opinions, negating the need to watch the second half of the interview etc.
Cancel culture is a faux thing on Twitter. It doesn’t happen in real life.

Lol and here you go using the Twitter cyclical debate. You seem to be agitated.
I’ve not ignored what you’ve said and I even agreed some of this “woke” stuff is being blown out of proportion.
Claiming it doesn’t actually exist at all though is disingenuous, even JK Rowling is being banned from Harry Potter events for saying biological sex matters.
I tried to have a grown up conversation but you’re clearly looking for an out now I’m giving you real examples.Lol and here you go using the Twitter cyclical debate.
I’ll leave you to it. Enjoy.
