Just watched the replay of his second goal.

He was about 30 yards behind Kev in our half and just kept running and running, and then the ball fell to his left foot and he duly smashed it in. What a superb goal.

Tevez was one of my favourite players I’ve ever seen in a City shirt just because of pure ability but willingness to work. Aguero had both and now Alvarez is taking the mantle from both years on.

His finishing is something else and unusually clinical for the type of player (anywhere across the front) he is. Could’ve had a hat trick if the other one didn’t hit the post as well!
