Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

Thanks to Peter Walton for clearing that non red card up
If it’s on the foot it’s a yellow
If it’s on the shin it’s a red
But this slid down the shin so no red
Do these clowns make there own rules up ffs
Looked like after contact VVD continued through.

Sick of hearing about Nunez’s wonderful shot. It was straight down the middle, which is why Pickford saved it, and it was talking from a really difficult angle because his movement wasn’t good enough to get a better chance.

“Yes it’s high, yes he was nowhere near the ball, yes he broke his leg, but he plays for Liverpool so we won’t bother checking it”

I’d hoped so, but you can never quite tell these days. People say outlandish things that you think they can’t believe, but they do!
I know what you mean. The other day someone in the VAR thread was arguing that it was very unlikely that VAR is used to attempt to manipulate match outcomes via marginal incidents. Couldn’t tell if they were just an innocent soul or pulling a clarkie.

The man is a idiot, what grinds my gears is those w**kers at BT pay this clown to give his useless views ..

Didn’t Benzema have a goal ruled out in the Champions League final that came off a Liverpool player to him because they said it wasn’t deliberate?

Personally I thought it should’ve been a Benzema goal because it was a deliberate touch because the defender made a challenge
Yes, and Milners touch was deliberate

He’s clueless! He’s also just made that up n’all, you can definitely be sent off even if the first contact is on the foot never mind that being where it ended up.

When you think van Dijk is about 16 stone, the force going into that the way he did will easily have doubled his body weight coming down on the lad’s shin. That’s excessive force by any measure. Would be even if it was only directly on the foot.

Yes, its what made them top level referees

Apart from the Bournemouth game Liverpool have looked completely off the pace this season
If they hang in and win this game then you'd say there is potential for them to still find their rhythm, but if they keep playing like this they'll keep dropping points. Looked very average for large stretches of the games I've watched this season.
