Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

The wages they pay are apparently eye watering for the level of club they are. They owe millions in loans, millions to the previous stadium owners and they owe the tax man millions as well. Also stupidly spent £100 million on a new training ground. Small stadium, small fanbase globally and no Champions League football isn't going to help them either. If they go down and lose that Premier League TV money their owners will try and offload them to the first buyer they can find.
According to Deloitte, they ranked 15th in world football in terms of revenue with £255.5 million.

City operate at a 60% wage bill to turnover and Txiki said that’s the only sustainable way to run a club.

Leicester operate at a 75% wage bill to turnover (third worst in the league I think) and owe money out left right and centre.

Their outgoings have been nearly £110m more than their revenue in the last two years.

If they're still in trouble come January then expect panic buying to try and keep them up.

Barnes off. He was barely involved in the game at all, one shot straight at the keeper is the only thing i remember him doing.

Ooh, now that would be dangerous! Imagine if they didn’t stay up after spending. I think, if they do go down, they have to pay the EFL for failing the EFL FFP n’all (or is that Villa? can’t remember if Leicester have already paid theirs)
