Premier League Games 3/4 Sept '22

I think this should count. This can go either way but Welbeck (or whoever the guy few cm offside was) is never getting to the ball with that poor acrobatic effort and I think the defender is heading the ball away the same way even if he wasn't there.

In those 50-50s attacking side should be favored.

Wheres the consistency these wankers at VAR talk about ?

Literally a week after the Rags clearly "OFFSIDE" winner against Liverpool.

They disallow a Brighton screamer for marginal Elbow Offside again.

This game is so Bent.

Why are English officials so shit with Var, Bundesliga, La liga and Seri a are brilliant when it comes to Var decisions

Miles offside.

The game would be bent if they had allowed a goal.

The reasoning behind that Rag winner being allowed to stand was VAR was going to be favoring the attacking player when an attacker/defender are not separated by clear day light.

So you think far enough common sense at last.

Then today they can not even draw the fucking lines

And disallow a cracking Goal.

The whole thing is a shambles it’s actually got worse since it’s inception ..

It really hasn't. He was offside, so they got it right in this game.
I watched the Burnley game on TV on Friday and they were denied a clear penalty as they didn't have VAR.

It's certainly not perfect but they get more decisions correct with VAR than if we didn't have it.

Not forgetting yesterdays multiple wrong decisions, that one then to rule out the MacAlister goal was the correct decision.
Absolutely, even though it's a shame such a great goal got ruled out, the offside rule is important and has to be applied even handedly, honestly it shouldn't have needed the ref to look at the screen, var official can see he's interfering

If you can't even celebrate a thunder bastard goal like that without 4 minutes of checks then it's shite, regardless of if the decision at the end is correct or not.
