Kick off time 17:30 (BST). Live on Sky Sports for those in the UK.

Time for this lot again. Usually a hard game for us, their counter-attacking style of play usually causes us nightmares. We didn't beat them in either game last season. Son Heung-min hasn't scored a league goal yet this season...so expect him to tick that one off.

Our recent record against them doesn't look too great:

Got to be on it from the off against these, strongest team we can put out, don't concede early and spend most of the game chasing it.

Absentees v Sevilla
John Stones
Kyle Walker
Aymeric Laporte

My Predicted Team:
--------------Ederson
Walker---Stones---Dias---Cancelo
---------------Rodri
-----De Bruyne---Bernardo
Mahrez------Haaland--------Foden

Ake/Akanji and Gomez to start if Stones and Walker aren't fit.

Wouldn’t surprise me if pep plays Rodri and Philips to stop the counter…

Referee: Michael Oliver
Assistants: Stuart Burt, Simon Bennett.
Fourth official: Darren England.
VAR: Paul Tierney. Assistant VAR: Marc Perry.

They're better on the counter now than they have been for a long time and they've fucked us on the counter for a while. It's a concern. They'll play 5 at the back 2 sitting and play long balls down the channels for their front 3 which will cause us problems. We need the intensity from the front and if we get ourselves infront, we cannot sit on it, we bsolutely have to go for the kill. First top opposition we've played this season, really need to win and set a marker down. A defeat could see us end the weekend behind United after an easier start.

If walker and stones are unavailable I think the back 4 is cancelo dias ake akanji, leaning towards ake left back cancelo right back but could easily have ake central with dias, cancelo left and akanji right. Too much for Gomez to start.

Bernardo has to be central to help cut out the counter potential with Rodri and kdb. Front 3 of Haaland Alvarez and Foden is our best current option.

Can't wait for Spuds at home, possibly the last "Summer type" home game, forecast looks promising.

Spuds are always full of it and an afternoon in Town should make em lively.

This would be another boring game against a supposed top team that would have like 10 of their players camped inside their penalty box. Against Nottingham forest they were camped in their box relying on counter attacks so I doubt it is any different.
