Probably because Sevilla wore white shorts and uefa don't like a clash in kit.

You can't wear shorts or socks of the same color. Its in the LotG. At pace you see flashes of color, even if your "head is up" and shorts and especially socks can be just as misleading as jerseys.

I thought we were pretty poor first half, didn't do enough for me, but didn't really have to against the worst Sevilla side I've ever seen, but at 1-0 it's a risk, and they briefly threatened after half time, but once we got the second it was "easy street".

Liked the look of the 2 new guys, who both had steady if reasonably easy games.

Thought Phil was great, and obviously Erling knows where to be, I don't think he'll ever get tired in a game ;-)

How can we have a 4th colour for shorts?

I thought there were rules on kits and if you have a clash you have to make something up from the 3x shirts/shorts you have. We could have worn the yellow or the red / black full kits?

Yeah it is scary but i think it's a bit of both, even though it's getting better every game.
He could press better, but his movement, speed and knack of finding space is really good. But in every game we pass up the chance to give him the ball. Haaland has been on the shoulder of the CH every game but we haven't put the ball through for him to run onto. Once we figure out where he is we'll be making even more chances!

Yeah agree,they showed one tonight when foden scored Bernardo had the ball and haaland was making a run a though ball would have seen him away but it didn’t matter this time as foden scored a cracking goal ..

It's probably too early to say, but we don't really miss with signings from the Bundesliga do we?

Crazy how many times I hear about how players from that league perform poorly here, but maybe, just maybe, the club they go to doesm't suit them.

Simply under Pep off the top of my head (KdB, Gundogan, Sane, Haaland, Gomez, Akanji) don't know who else I missed from Pep's time.

pep said wants us to play slower more controlled but to me thats what cost us at villa they grew into game and out worked us late on because we didnt score second

Unpopular opinion but Ferdinand gives a fair analysis.

Not unpopular at all. I completely agree. Thought the analysis was more than decent. Also, they all praised Haaland (as they should). Good analysis imo.
