Nobody mentioned other countries. Do this government do more for people in this country than previous governments have, no, do they do more than previous Tory governments, no. After the Thursday budget they don’t even do as much as Johnsons government.
The vast majority of people on benefits are working many full time, anyone working full time still needing benefits are neither entitled or have a victim mentality they are being let down. They are victims of a greedy outdated economic policy that has been debunked.

Put simply we should stop paying in work top up benefits. I'd imagine that somehow all the supermarkets etc would magically find the money to pay employee's properly rather than shut the doors and have no business.

Why should I pay into a tax system which has just given the top brass of say Tesco a £5k plus tax cut because they get paid so much yet the business they run cannot allegedly pay employee's enough without some of my taxes also subsidising their workforce? The Tesco etc business model is broken - it doesn't work and they should pay up or close.

I struggled to make sense of that but if you are trying to say that the vast majority of people claiming benefits in this country work full time you are completely deluded.

I doubt 99% of voters out in the real world have heard of it never mind read it, thats what all the left wing party members that and those that debate in politics threads of football forums need to realise when they choose their party leaders. When people decide what government they want, it isn’t these reports they base their votes on.

How many people in this country are on working and child tax / universal credits and the benefits that go with them ? Pretty sure it’s much more than those on unemployment benefits.

It's clear you parroted words written by some blaisé journo as a 'sort of' head nod to the report who would whittle down the shocking details as you have.

You've shown you're not someone who truly takes in other viewpoints.

This answer is rather like the newspapers that blare out accusations for the world to see and take notice of, only to print an acknowledgement of the actual truth in a one inch column in the bottom inside corner on page 10...

Maybe tax the families of the dead who are buried ground rent coz they are taking up space that could be used for lucrative - sorry much needed - housing - mostly 5 bed detached of course.

Give a tax rebate to the families of those who die if they consent to the heat generated by cremation being used to generate electricity ?

What’s interesting ? Do you really think the vast majority of voters take the slightest bit of notice of something like the Ford report when they vote? How many voters even read a party manifesto before an election, I’d guess very few. Surely whatever your personal views on that stuff,you can't believe that

That doesn't work mate - the Yanks they are trying to sell it to make their cash in the States by having a large cohort of sick people they can fleece - they don't wanna kill the sick they want to keep them alive for longer in droves and at great expense
