These cunts take it to the next level and spoil it for everyone else.

They get away with smashing things up and causing mayhem wherever they go without so much a caution or a slap on the wrist.

They are the most vile, feral set of wankers to ever step foot on the planet and yet THEY are suing UEFA for what's gone on.

The British press need to stop living in their parallel universe and get in touch with the real world.

ROB DRAPER EXCLUSIVE: Chaos at the Champions League final in Paris was triggered by a technological meltdown, an investigation by The Mail on Sunday can reveal.

I hate to see heartache but, if a picture paints a thousand words (as Bread sang laboriously . . but in a way that hangs around and haunts you . . endlessly) .

then maybe one perspective could be that

That main picture consisted of:-
* an whimpering kid in the foreground (poor lad) - covering his face,
* an adult male to the r/h side (implies father & son?) - also covering his face,
* a big bloke stood behind them - wearing a warm hood over his head, on a hot day, with dark sunglasses on and also covering his face.

To some, this may appear to be a totally constructed photograph, carefully selected, or indeed put together, to make a story out of nothing.
One line of thought could be; why, in a search for heartrending father & son type imagery (out of all the hundreds of digital photographs taken by each and every photographer at the event), should they choose to present an image of 2 people covering their faces like bandits?
And also, why does the big bloke stood behind them have his face covered, why does he have a hood over his head when everyone around are wearing T shirts? Why is he wearing dark sunglasses when his eyes are already shaded by his hood?

I don’t do conspiracy theories and I’ve not got a stake in the fight, so I’m more interested than arsed about the outcomes, but it just looks a well dodgy photo to me.

My guess is that they're covering their faces because the French police are using Pepper spray.

My guess is that you’ve never been on a demo where pepper spray was deployed.

In all fairness, I considered pepper spray but (from my real life experience / no guessing) the fact is that they’d be covering their eyes and noses if pepper spray was in play.
Just a bit in the air and the first thing it does is get your eyes streaming - if you have a hanky and you hold it tight over your mouth and nose and your eyes are as shut as you get them.

The way they have their faces covered isn’t to deal with pepper spray, it’s to disguise who they are - bandit style not pepper spray protection style and, from a glance at those around them, there’s not so much as a tear, never mind everyone blinded by streaming eyes.

Not digging you out but I’ve read and heard this a few times. They didn’t push a wall over onto the juventus fans.

They charged the juventus fans and on turn they fled in horror towards a wall that was at the end of the terrace. This force has led to a wall collapsing on the poor souls and that’s why 39 people were killed.

It looks more like they're concerned that they could be sprayed, or have been threatened with it, rather than it having just had it sprayed in their faces. They're clearly covering their noses and mouths while looking straight into a camera - hardly the same as the images we see when they're throwing bottles at buses.

Still, the thought of that kid being a bandit in disguise has made me smile :)

To be fair, going to Anfield is like going to Disneyland for a day out. It seems like more of a plastic family fun day out than any other ground in the country whenever I’ve been over the last couple of decades. Even in Liverpool city centre pre- or post-game, there’s just loads of Irish just having a nice time.

Their away ends at the Etihad always seem like softies. Even when we go to Wembley against them, I’ve never once encountered any trouble or groups of “lads” within Liverpool’s fans (there was a bit of mither with one coach at a services on one trip, but that wasn’t anything compared to the trips down there against United or even Wigan). Of all the sets of fans we’ve encountered at Wembley, they’re down the bottom for it feeling edgy or like something will happen.

I genuinely think he’s right, the Etihad and our fanbase is miles more moody than Anfield or their fanbase. Heard it said, seen it written online (Villa fans online saying it was frightening in that last game of the season at the Etihad for their fans) many times by many different fanbases that City and United’s fanbases are a bunch of nutters.

When we played Liverpool in the league cup final (2024/15?) on the way there I witnessed an entire coach load of them shouting racist abuse at an Asian family at the service station. Loads of blues stood up for them and the scousers fucked off.
