It would be nice preparation for Arteta as he continues his path to a bigger job at City when Pep eventually leaves.I’ll second that. Would prefer the Gooners challenging than that weird cult.

Of course itll happen to us, lets all just enjoy the ride until that timeI'd say that team is coming to the end of its natural cycle. It happens to every successful team; Liverpool back in the 80s, Arsenal in the early 90s, Chelsea under Mourinho and utd under Ferguson. And we'd be naive to think it won't happen to us at well.
Agreed.Of course itll happen to us, lets all just enjoy the ride until that time
Bang on that. In all fairness that should all have been solved by signing the greatest striker of a generation. The problem for me is threefold:
1 - VVD is 80% (at most) of the player he was
2 - They sold Mane
3 - Teams no longer fear them
Little My !
It is a fair point but when is Bayern's run of dominance coming to an end?I'd say that team is coming to the end of its natural cycle. That's true but we have done exceptionally well so far with a transition involving three teams managed by Mancini, Pellegrini, and Pep. As long as we keep Soriano and Khaldoon in place and maintain our mostly brilliant recruitment record we should be ok. No one will ever reach 100 points again though. For me that record will stand as long as this planet is still spinning.I'd say that team is coming to the end of its natural cycle. Psychologically MCFC have destroyed them.I wonder if City have just killed them.....
The fact that no matter how "great" they have been, City have been greater.
What ever they do........ it's never enough....
This is part of it, Klopp playing the same 11 game after game has left them mentally and physically shotI wonder if City have just killed them.....
The fact that no matter how "great" they have been, City have been greater.
Whatever they do........ it's never enough....
We win the league two years running without a striker. And then watch us sign Haaland who scores 9 goals in less games.....
We have simply deflated that club.
And they know it.
And they know that City know it.
I think Liverpool is too far behind to catch us now. I think we are better off with an Arsenal lossAn Arsenal win next weekend is absolutely the best result
There's only one team capable of challenging us this season, and they're only sat in the top half because of goal difference
But hopefully we will have a good while yet before that happens.I'd say that team is coming to the end of its natural cycle. UnprecedentedMad that these won the quad last year.
Yeah, still fucking seething about how they beat us to the title and that destruction of Real Madrid in the final was total football #RespectMad that these won the quad last year.
Mentality Monsters tooMad that these won the quad last year.
The way they destroyed Chelsea in both finals as well. UnFOURgettableYeah, still fucking seething about how they beat us to the title and that destruction of Real Madrid in the final was total football #Respect
If we win tomorrow, we'll be 10 pts ahead of them. I'll be slightly miffed if we gave that up to them over the season.I think Liverpool is too far behind to catch us now. I think we are better off with an Arsenal loss
