I’m starting to worry now about the press/media they seem to be changing tack and writing or talking positive about City mostly,probably because they know it’s the only way to see pep leave,the constant negatives in my opinion was only making him more determined to shut them up ..

At that time the whole media narrative and agenda was to send Foden out on loan to somewhere, anywhere. The TV, press & radio outlets the so called 'pundits' were unanimous on that issue. They knew how good he was going to be and they were dreading it. Loan him out and they hoped he might have his head turned and leave City. Pep and the club along with Foden's team have managed it perfectly and we all now reap the rewards and they have to swallow their words. Fuck em!

Interestingly, I picked up a copy of The Times yesterday & amazed to see an extremely pro-City report by Henry Winter within the Sports Supplement. Quotes along the lines of the scoreline was a lie to United & everyone who was at the Etihad or watched the game knew this was an utter humiliation & there's a huge gulf in class.

Pleasantly surprised, bet the journo gets a wrap around the knuckles from his editor!
