Cole Fucking Palmer.

My God we are good right now, what a form all the players are in! So many performances last night was awestrucking, Jack has really come on leaps and bounds and is a joy to watch. First half Bernie and Gundo was out of this world, so much willingness to run, to create spaces etc. Though this was Mahrez best game this season but still a long way to go before reaching last years form.
Loved watching Palmer, Esbrand, Lewis getting meaningful playing time and slotting perfectly into their roles and adding themselves to the game. Gomez and Alvarez are some truly promising players so glad they started and contributed as they did.
Was watching Leipzig-Celtic first, that match was full throttle end to end stuff and lacked in my mind a player who could direct the game as you get used to when watching City play, we have several of those players that can direct our games so it becomes a cohesive unit playing together while both Leipzig and Celtic felt more like individual players that played, if that makes any sense.

Still wary that the season just started, its a long season and who knows what will happen after WC but right now im enjoying it tremedously to watch our team play!
 
I'm excited our kids are getting some big moments to shine.

Our quality is shining through and empowering Pep to give more opportunities.

Palmer is a Rolls Royce in waiting, had that feeling all along.

Whilst the standard of opponent last night has to be taken into consideration, the fact is Rico and Josh have both the confidence and quality to play the Pep template.

The sight of Jack also committing more players in recent games is what we want to see.
 
Awesome last night, Haaland`s movement and power is beyond amazing. Silva silky movement and play shows he s back on form. Jack was on form and the goalie s form stopped him from scoring. Ilkay and Mahrez were playing some great football and playing some sweet passes. Over all the defence was mint.
Delighted to see Alverez score and Gomez getting in the mix with assists/goals.

great to see Palmer get game time to develop more.
