So, I read this again...

Where's the pardoning and releasing from jail those imprisoned for marijuana? You know, the stuff US businesses are making millions on?

Smells like a midterm election play...
So.. Let me get this straight; you are getting your knickers in a twist over Biden pardoning the disproportionate number of people from deprived areas (predominantly BAME communities) disadvantaged by laws which specifically targeted them over their white and considerably more affluent counterparts?

Laughable.

Presume you are okay with Trump pardoning Manafort, Flynn, Stone, etc?

The Afghan situation was a mess that he inherited. Yes it got worse but its hardly something he was responsible for.
My impression is that Biden wanted to get out as soon as possible and that intelligence briefings were thus colored to make it appear that a quick withdrawal would be possible without major incident; namely, those who thought that the Afghan army was on the verge of collapse were likely not given enough credence.

IMO, a very similar thing happened under George W. Bush's reign - Bush was of the belief that Iraq was developing weapons of mass destruction which might be used against the USA - any intelligence to the contrary was suppressed and likely never made it to the attention of the president.

Biden seems to have been victim to faulty intelligence - but that such poor intelligence might occur should have been a lesson learned - and Biden bears responsibility. A much more measured withdrawal involving a large US military presence was in hindsight necessary - and might have been put into place should the administration have been more open to critical assessments about the state of the Afghan army.

You've got nothing straight.

Whilst it's appreciated people with marijuana convictions on their record are to be quashed, you seem to ignore that there are thousands still locked up for Biden's own 1994 Bill policies or the '3 Strikes Bill' which vary from state to state that includes low level crimes with weed possession intact.

You want those people to applaud him for suffering under his policies and vote for him?

I agree; "laughable". If a politician had you jailed for a law which seemed pretty unfair, would you vote for them?

As for your other sentence, Trump will be pardoned by the next right wing Pres as sure as night follows day.

Whether I'm "okay with it" is irrelevant.

Convicted of 'simple possession' is not 'Three strikes'.

Honestly, where does your false equivalency end?

If you actually want to read instead of skipping, it "varies from state to state".

Let me ask you this; "simple possession" convictions would have been completed under Biden's bill and, since you like to skip to the parts you like to answer only, is there going to be any reparation for those convicted under the '94 Bill for "simple possession"?

I'll make a final point about what Biden's done:

"Or that a conviction will be erased from their records".

A cosmetic gesture for up to 6500 people to vote onside with Dems, but doesn't actually change up the record of spending time in jail for possession.

Point made, toodle pip.
