It checks for handballs in the build up to goals. In the PL, that goal would have stood, but not in the CL.

Clear and obvious is to do with subjective foul decisions.
The current rules being used in the CL.

The goal should have stood.

That’s actually going to be a good thing in the long run. Haaland will take them now. You don’t want Mahrez taking them when it really matters
We’ve thought this before when he’s missed. But always seems to take them
 
No mate.. the rule changed recently (before last season I believe?!?).
Got rid of the ‘intentional’ part and changed it to any handball contact in the build up to a goal would be chalked off.
The below are the current rules being used in the CL.
