His form and concentration have gone. He probably has overplayed and with our lack of numbers and Pep's reluctance to give JWe chance, I don't know what post world Cup scenario will look. We need to give him some rest. JWE won't do any worse than him
 
But no worries he will post in Ig about how the loss will make him stronger...someone should make him read a book or do anything that requires some patience and mknd and maybe he'll be a better footballer

He's the Mahrez of full backs. He goes on a purple patch where he's producing goals and assists and then does nothing for months.

In fact, that's harsh on Riyad. He's much more consistent than Joao.

We should be looking to sell him to a Madrid or Barca and invest in a proper full back for each side.
 
The Gomez being better or worse talk shouldn’t even be a thing at this moment because they should both be playing. Cancelo at RB and Gomez at LB and fuck this CB at RB nonsense off once and for all.

We sold Zin (a player Pep trusted) at a time when we all said we needed another LB. We have “replaced” him with a guy that Pep clearly doesn’t trust. We were in the shit at LB before we sold Zin. Now it’s a fucking catastrophe, because we are now fucked at RB as well. Fucking braindead transfer moves.
 
With our full back situation, its a bad time for him to be as out of form as he is.

There’s just the one catastrophic flaw in this.


Cancelo is worse at RB than LB.

Situation will be same for the season. We won't buy a new full backq in Jan and Gomez or Wilson Esbrand won't see minutes. It's Cancelo Or Ake at LB and Walker or Stones at RB
 
I’ve seen enough of Cancelo. Owed us big time for last week and performed like he did today. Yeah ok.
