Biggest problem is Southgate, a lot on here deride Pep when he won't bring subs on but it's nothing compared to how bad Southgate is. Stuck in his ways, doesn't like to change the team, cost us the Euros v. Italy, did nothing when they brough fresh players on and we were knackered, even though they hadn't been in the game.

Rashford hasn't played for 2 years while Trossard is on fire, but he leaves Trossard at home and Foden on the bench. The way Southgate plays it, as soon as we draw anybody half decent we'll be out again. Fucking clueless.

The problem is he is trying to play a progressive style with Declan Rice as the pivot.

Doomed to failure on every level.

The defence (minus Trippier) were the only ones from the starting 11 to come out with any credit for me. Then Jack subbed on, who looked more dangerous than all the other forwards combined in his cameo.

It cannt be ll the managers over the past decades.

The supposed Golden Generation (Beckham, Scholes Gerrard Lampard etc) were hugely overrated as well.....

We just dont produce enough technically gifted footballers.....and when we do they get kept on the bench (Foden)

Not even Foden makes a difference to that however as the rest of the players are bang average (in the attacking sense)

This all day , looking at subsequent events its obvious which player was the problem , holding a grudge against a player for so many years speaks more about Waistcoat than Foden.
