That doesn't make him a bad player, it happens.

I am not English, so I think I might be more objective. I don't get how anyone thinks Southgate is not the problem here. You have Stones, Walker (Trippier who is world-class with crosses and FK), Foden and Grealish whom with Pep play 100 times better than with England. Then you have Rice and Bellingham two players that Pep had wanted and all teams in Europe would like to have, Kane who Pep wanted and pushed for. Then you have Mount, Saka who are maybe the two best players of 2 world class teams. Only McGuire and Shaw are not top or world class, but the same can be said of Brazil(Danilo or Alessandro, or even Paqueta are not world-class), France (Giroud, Pavard, Lloris). There are zero excuses for the way you play.

Anyway, this world cup has been really fun. Team like Arabia Saudi, Canada, USA, South Korea, Japan are all really exciting teams to watch and with the exception of Qatar and Costa Rica, I think all teams have shown good quality.

That’s the thing though, there is no outstanding team. The World cup is up for grabs if any team really wants it. Tonight England looked like a team that couldn’t be arsed, give them back their rainbow armband they have more passion for that.

I stopped watching England a few years ago and had decided this bent highly dodgy Qatar affair was not for me. However I saw the score against the mighty Iran and my son told me how good England were so I decided to get up "with sparrows" this morning and watch this game.

Well ffs, what a boring load of pathetic tripe. No fucking Phil. (very annoying) and England playing like a bunch of fucking scared rabbits.
I hate Boregate with his shite useless tactics. Even at 84 minutes we were trying to play like City, goalie rolling it out to Stones, half a dozen passes before it's back to Pickford. Another minute ticks by.
Absolutely no urgency to score. Players doing what the dour git in charge is making them do.
FFS we have Harry Kane, one of the best No 9s out there and were tottering about on 86 minutes with it in our own half against a tired USA ! Can you believe it ?

Dourgate was happy with the draw. he was so fucking scared of losing it was comical.

England have had 12 goalless draws at the World Cup, the most of any nation in the history of the World Cup. Meanwhile, this was the USA's first ever goalless draw at the World Cup.

The Three Lions have never beaten the USA at the World Cup (D2 L1), only facing Brazil (four games) more often in the World Cup without winning.
