Ah alright then....think i was avoiding getting sucked in...a proper rabbit hole these kid of threads :-)

Simple. Have a go at guessing the album from the clues. Listen 3 times, or more if it is your thing. Say what's on your mind and put a number against it.

At the same time, drop Rob a line, he'll tell you when it's your turn to nominate, and then take all the above.

Be careful - whilst the more the merrier is generally true, too many would mean less nominations each and the thread in danger of being overwhelmed.

Whilst I'd never turn anybody away who was interested in joining, it seems that somewhere between 12 and 24 is a good, comfortable number.
 
Lots of 5's and 6's for The Dogs D'Amour. A Graveyard of Empty Bottles scored an average of 5.38 across 13 votes. I daresay if it was jut down to Spotify, the scores would have been lower than a snake's belly. Thanks to @southamptonblue for the nomination, I enjoyed it anyway.

Only two albums to go in round 5, and next up is @GoatersLeftShin

A bit of fresh taste and energy could be nice. Given most are now on third fourth rounds. Plus one or two chosing to drop out. No complaints on anything as is mind you.
 
This has been a tough round.

Let's give Goater a few more hours. I'm going to stick my neck out and say I'm confident that as he missed his slot a few weeks ago, he won't miss this time.

@threespires - I don't know how you are positioned with your first nomination, but I may ask you to step in either later tonight or first thing tomorrow.

I was actually seriously thinking at one point of posting the soundtrack to the Clueless movie. No lie, I was. But it has three mediocre covers of three great songs ("Kids in America", "The Ghost In You" and "All The Young Dudes") . . . and . . . Radiohead's "Fake Plastic Trees."

But everything else on it is pretty good, with three songs that are fantastic (Smoking Popes' "Need You Around", Velocity Girl's "My Forgotten Favorite", and the utterly brilliant "Supermodel" by Jill Sobule).

It's worth a listen if you like 90s pop/alternative!

And the movie is hands down one of very best (and funniest) about high school in America.
