We’re getting through them now.
As the truth evaporates from around them, we’re left with this soul-less vapid automaton burbling out the party line and talking of the ‘targets‘ they have set themselves without actually describing in any way how they are going to achieve them.
This is the distillation of this Tory regime.
Empty, self-delusional, devoid of any decency or care.

I genuinely believe that Brexit turned a lot of people mad. The human brain can do remarkable things as it leaps around trying to rationalise things that it holds dear- the mental gymnastics of cognitive dissonance. I’ve just watched a documentary about fundamental Mormons who accept their prophet is in prison for sexually abusing children but still keep him as their prophet. Thousands of them too. The Russians with Putin. The nazis.

People find it impossible to u turn on something they’ve committed everything to emotionally.

But yeah. He’s also an embarrassingly stupid ****.

What about this Thor the walrus, then, loafing about on a Hampshire beach? It's been seen in the Netherlands and France in recent weeks, so why didn't it stay there? They're safe countries. It's probably been brought over by Albanian walrus smugglers and doesn't look like the kind of high-skilled walrus the country needs.

Oh, and 70% seems too low...
