How do we resolve the Brexit mess?

It isn’t just students. Look at this. View attachment 63504 And they do work in hospitality as our intrepid investigator will find when he rocks up tonight.
The figure for Indian students in the academic year 20-21 was 84,555, up from 52,545 on the year before. And, I would imagine that figure will only rise further. Still way behind the number of Chinese students.

The figure that catches my eye there is that relating to Zimbabweans. Many are healthcare workers lured to the U.K. by agencies that often exploit them in terms of salary and housing. Of course, their leaving Zimbabwe then has a negative impact on the quality of care provided in Zimbabwe. Short-sighted.

Perhaps he is soaking up the hospitality
Have I missed the picture of the staff of the White Horse? Was it deleted or did it never appear?
I would love to believe @hedkandi is sitting there now being served flat pints by the Indian staff with his lip curled furiously, but I think we all know he’s just another cocksure Brexity bullshitter who got found out.

I’ve just noticed he deleted his posts too.

Ah Liz Truss , the giftedf Tory luminary currently skulking out of sight after fucking the UK economy up before her furniture had arrived in Dowing Street.

Another Tory **** elevated to a position way above their level of competence.

The worrying thing was ..... she was the best that they had to offer.

Truss made the mistake of thinking she knew better than her expert advisers.

A lot of Tories, in particular, have a sort of intellectual arrogance that persuades them they know better than people who have studied the subject all their lives. It is a very dangerous line to pursue in the real world unless you really are a genius. Very few people are, in fact, geniuses, and those that are such rarely go into politics. Or believe in the utter bullshit that passes for right-wing 'philosophy'.

Listen to the experts, I don't tell my barber how to cut my hair and he doesn't tell me how to do his accounts, pull his pint or cook his burger.

Indeed. Truss might be compared to someone with a racehorse. The trainer told her it would lose on Saturday, no question about it. Not ready and wrong ground. But she had 50k to win on it anyway (borrowed money) as she thought the trainer was too cautious. And a leftie. It trailed in 12th.

The very same premise that gave us brexit.
Probably - no , certainly - the most egregious case of flying in the face of expert opinion, knowledge and experience.

Well, you see, many people, perhaps most, are driven by emotion rather than cold, hard logic.

Politicians are well aware of this and exploit this human weakness.

You present complex issues in simplistic terms and offer a 'solution' and lots will buy that - even if it's complete bollocks. Brexit was a classic example. I doubt whether 3% of the population thoroughly understood what the EU does or the implications of leaving such an important trading area.

But you don't try to analyse it - way too complicated! Instead, you talk about 'unelected bureaucrats', 'red tape'. and 'having trust in Britain.' People like that. They understand it - sort of.

But the cunts who were pushing it definitely played a very dirty game .....................using Boris the twat as cheerleader for a start.

And too many seduced by the lies, fear, proaganda and other bullshit, and now waking up to the enormity of the reality, were seduced by the blustering useless floppy haired lying twat ( with the full weight of the ERG driving him ).

I hate the **** with a passion and cannot honestly understand why so many find him honest and credible enough to vote for him in any capacity.

Same with the whole of the Tory party of liars, cheats, profiteers, and downright crooks.

Special hi to Michelle and Barrowman !!
