I don’t blame the brainwashed. The brainwashing is well oiled machine.

Everyone gets a vote & yet depending on where you read your news, the gas lighting begins.

I’m over in Aus but on my calls to my elderly parents who worked damned hard, my dad 7 days a week & 12 hours a day to get by are now thinking nurses are cheeky bastards.

They’ve been brainwashed for 80 years as we all have. The lying & deceit & stealing & cheating.

They are compassionate people who’d help anyone but by the time they’ve got to the poling station they have no idea what they’ve voted for.

So democracy, don’t make me laugh. Especially when you are working so hard to make ends meet, the thieving cunts will point at some poor fucker arriving on a dinghy to take your share of fuck all. Obviously not telling you that the family in the dinghy had a middle class lifestyle before being bombed into oblivion & taken over by ISIS.

It’s the same propaganda that makes fans think City have cheated FFP yet no nothing about the rules. The people telling the story have a lot to answer for.

I’m sorry mate I don’t agree with this, obviously there are exceptions to the rules but it’s carefully crafted.

My views have changed massively over the years. I would say my values were always caring, hard working but my outlook was TV & newspapers for years. Then I started reading & listening to different forms, how I think changed that changed where I got my news.

My dad would get his paper & he’ll see Corbyn next to Gerry Adams & that’s it. As easy as that.

I voted to leave. I lived in Germany, am fluent in German and wouldn’t consider myself “thick” or “racist”. I am old though (55). Think it will be longer than ten years before we return. If there’s anything left to return.

In the context of Britain being 'broken', I was comparing how safe people are when walking in urban areas after dark.
Several recent events indicate that this country needs to get a grip on safety in urban areas, especially for women.
We've even had a police officer who kidnapped, raped and murdered. And others who share phone images of murder victims.
I condemn Putin but he isn't the be all and end all of what Russia stands for.
 
All you need to look at is the lack of law and order in this country to tell you how much it’s on its arse - end of

I was talking about the oldest generation who were influenced by the second world war. Not everyone who voted leave is thick or overtly racist but everybody who I know who is thick or overtly racist did.

Good post mate. A question that I haven’t seen answered much is why do they report as they do? If it’s to further an agenda then who is setting that agenda? If it’s a mirror being held up about what the populace want to actually read about then god help us all.

Meanwhile, the media will be telling you to celebrate the fact you have a “choice”, whilst China supplants the US and western economies continue to recede.

How can you label the opposition “grossly incompetent” when they haven’t been in power for 12 years?

You are the problem. We’ve had 3 years of the most incompetent government in British history -by any measure- and you are still prepared to vote for that again because you can’t think for yourself.

I have never voted Tory and I certainly won’t be doing so at the next election. Unless there is a major change in Labour, starting with its leader, I won’t be voting Labour for the very first time. Both parties will lead the country to ruin. One will get us there slightly faster.
