Discontent that will end the Tory Govt is coming

One thing I’ll say for Brexit is that I’ve loved being able to go to the pub and order a pint unlike pre 2016, when we were under the yoke of EU oppression.….
There are plenty of ways to skin a cat.
We gave the French £50 million to help with the migrant problem.
So they use the money to buy 2 new ships, good start, but the crews orders are to assist ( not prevent) the migrants getting in to British waters.
You could not make it up.

Its OK mate - I don't engage with childish retorts like his - the bit in bold was to emphasise my point but somehow he thought he was being cleaver.

Anyway - love to the family as Colin from Portsmouth would say
I hope jonnytapia is having a day off today.
The word is clever not cleaver.
I suggest it’s not a good idea to comment on other people’s spelling or grammar in future posts, it may come back to haunt you.

Well credit where it’s due, you lefties are great at jumping to the defence of your comrades
The post has nothing to do with you.
However, if you are so interested in it,I suggest you go back a few pages and perhaps add a similar comment to about 3 of his earlier posts.
Perhaps do a similar exercise with jonnytapia.
Just to prove your not biased .
The thing is, when you post publicly, everyone reads the posts.

Taking it to pm limits the number of people who see you acting like a dick, but seeing as you want to publicly reveal your childishness, the cats out of the bag.

You really need to address your comments to your mate, but as he is your mate you wouldn’t dare.
Without sounding childish I think you will find he started it.

If it’s not kicked in yet how on Earth have we got to page 54 in comments.
Judging by those comments you will find there are plenty on here that may disagree with you.
Judging by your posts, you’re either a bot, a troll, or a childlike person who spat their dummy out for whatever reason. Therefore, I have no reason to engage.

Ps. It’s OK to disagree, have a good Christmas.

I have never had problems with posters either disagreeing or agreeing with me and I certainly don’t need anyone to come on and fight on my behalf.
I find that’s a bit like being back in the school playground and an insult to the person I was debating with when someone answers for them.
Everyone has an opinion and they are entitled to it.
I just don’t see the point of making it personal when someone says something I don’t agree with.
I will bite back if someone picks me up on punctuation, grammar, or spelling but I have never instigated a debate on the subject.
I am more interested in the point they are trying to make and when they make a valid point, I am happy to acknowledge it, even if I don’t necessarily agree with it.
I assume everyone is thick skinned on the politics forum, enter if you dare, so if it gets a bit feisty they can cope without making it personal.
Anyway no need to reply as it’s a bit off track in any case, but all the best to you too and have a good Christmas.

Also, don’t forget the private school parents still have to contribute to the state system even though they are not using it.
Yes they are.
Each and every one of us makes use of the state education system every single day.
It may be the cashier at the local shop giving you the correct change because they learnt sums in school, it may be the plumbers repairing the broken pipes to get the water back on in your house, or maybe turning on the TV or light using electricity installed by a spark educated by the state, but EVERYONE uses the state education system.

I am struggling where to find the bit about taking us to War over non existent weapons of mass destruction.
Always laugh when Self-Servatives talk about the illegal war for oil.
Hansard record of the vote makes interesting reading, especially as only 2 (yes TWO) Tory MP's opposed it compared to 84 Labour MP's, but let's not let facts muddy the water's.

There you go again with........YOUR.
Here is the rule: if “you are” would make sense, use “you’re “.
If it wouldn’t, use “your”.
So....”Just to prove you are not biased” - makes sense, ergo, we use “you’re”.
Does any of this pedantry really matter?
No.
Should you be using your / you’re correctly?
Yes.

Physician heal thyself has been flung back at me on many occasion! If you’re dishing it out, you’ve gotta be able to take it back.
As @gordondaviesmoustache will aver!!

As the go to for Hansard, can I ask you how many Labour MP’s were voicing opposition to the Tories desperate attempt to get as much PPE as possible during the Covid crisis
You see my memory doesn’t inform me that at the time, the Labour MP’s were telling the Tories not to order any until all due diligence was done on every company which could have taken months.
But as they say hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Ahh, yes, the global pandemic that we knew about over three months before it arrived in the UK, but the then Prime Minister couldn't be bothered to attend FIVE COBRA meetings to prepare for it, instead boasting about letting the bodies pile high in their thousands and of him being the superman of capitalism, and letting 3,000 football fans into the country from a known hotspot.

I thought Scouse land wasn’t part of England and that they would take anything as long as they didn’t have to pay for it.

Perhaps there might have been more opposition if Hancock had said "We are giving PPE contracts to Tory donors who have no experience of procuring PPE". With hindsight, of course.

How the fuck do you oppose the existence of a VIPLane that Lord Agnew as late as the 8th this month denied in the Lords existed?? Go on - simple question answer awaited.

Dont be a knob, it was so desperate even Labour MP's weren't prepared for the lack of good faith, they had no choice but to believe that the Govt would do the right thing. In all aspects this proved to be very poor judgement.

With the benefit of that wonderful thing called hindsight of course
