Being young,back then,it was difficult to understand what was going on in the boardroom,as a kid was only interested in the players,and the results,which at times to be quite honest were both poor,but I did love it in the early 80's in the Platt Lane with my mam n dad,used be shit scared when it used to go off in there at the top almost every home game,but that's another story.
Then the forward with Franny era,got our wish,but that went tits as well,so as been said it is part of our history,and never to be erased,but it's easier to look back at those days now,as to what we have now become,and to be honest if things hadn't got better I dread to think what it would be like.
Keep the faith was the motto back then,I'm fucking glad I did
