Ref Watch

Today's referee, Facundo Tello of Argentina, handed out 10 (TEN) red cards in a Trophy of Champions final between Boca Juniors and Racing Club last month.

If he issues any red cards today for serious foul play or violent conduct, those players could be banned from the final, which Argentina might be involved in.

Atwell fucking shite. Let Leeds kick the fuck out of us(especially Grealish) then first foul a City player makes he gets his card out
I thought he refereed that pretty well......
For a wanker.
They were always leaving a boot in and Atwell did nowt.

Arguably the most suspect performance from a referee officiating one of our matches in years.

Some of this non-calls boggle the mind, him issuing Lewis the first yellow after Leeds had the freedom of the butchers before that (and Leeds player had just shoved Lewis to the ground with no consequence), and his refusal to protect Jack really warrants an official complaint to PGMOL.

I'd love to hear his explanation of why he did exactly those things. Almost like he had orders.

Not really though - it was the blueprint ref performance at a ground where the team will get stuck into us. Happens all the time at Elland Road and at Anfield too - the crowd get noisy and the ref lets them stick late tackles on us.

First player booked is nearly always a City player and usually for fuck all.

We've done very well to come out of that with 3 points and without any serious injuries.
