Exactly,you don’t begrudge loyal fans a bit of success and anyone who had followed Brentford for a while deserves to see their team succeed. I’ve been a city fan for fifty plus years and have to endure piss take and ridicule from plastic fans and now I appreciate our success as it’s even sweeter

I saw them play at Northampton in League 1 in 2006. They were supporter owned at the time, with Greg Dyke as chairman.

We were just setting up a Supporter Trust at City and one of their fan representatives was really helpful. Dyke sent us a good luck message and I've had a soft spot for them ever since. So pleased to see them doing so well (although I could have done without them beating us!)

I reckon thay squad today was 600-700 million and they have countless 35 to 50 million players out injured and just spent 35 million. Net spend in the last few seasons i reckon is far higher than us.
Perhaps if he rotated better over the years they would not have the injuries or players burnt out
