Never forget that "our club" were happy to release these pictures when we were celebrating our title win and slapped it in the media.Nothing will come of it. It will be quietly dropped and swept under the carpet (again). It does seem like the club do not want to upset Liverpool. As we know, Liverpool just don't have or do bad publicity for any reason whatsoever. They simply don't allow it to happen and manage every situation accordingly. Why they have so much influence over us is a mystery to be honest. As you rightly say, it has been more than long enough now to have made progress, to publish a 'rogues gallery' of potential suspects - but absolutely nothing. It's laughable. As we know, if it had happened the other way around at Anfield you would never hear the end of it. LFC would be all over it, as would the Echo and local TV. They are untouchable and they know it.

Excellent post and bang on the money. I’d forgotten about those photos. Not that difficult if you want to do it. Obviously we don’t.Never forget that "our club" were happy to release these when we were celebrating our title win and slapped it in the media.
Won't do that the dippers who were launching stuff at a 15 year old city fan though
The club aren't on our side in my opinion. They're going to try and shut that dad up with some hospitality seats and signed shirt.View attachment 65248
It's been to long now and all gone quite, more bullshit that the dippers walk away from, never ever do our club pursue anything unless it's against our ownThey won't nick anyone, not a chance.

Totally agree but this was the excuse that was trotted out soon after the incident and, I think, was reported by some media outlets. The source needs to be identified and discredited.

Rubs hands…“The Club’s” focus has switched to getting more corporates into our trips to the Swamp and Forest
For the sake of balance, quite a few Scousers have shown their class by demanding the culprit is found, including the Hilsborough campaign group and Spirit of Shankley.
Scummy behaviour but I was expecting it to be far worse. It could prove to be a lucky escape with much improved security required for the next game between us.Have they offered “education” for the culprits? Let’s be honest, 1 cut a young girl, many more objects were thrown.

Agree on the banning order, but disagree on the sentence. Reading that article all the way through (assuming it’s accurate), I think he’s lost and paid enough for a moment of madness that he‘ll probably regret for the rest of his life. People fuck up. Think 20 months was about right, given his guilty plea and apparent remorse, which I expect was genuine. Didn’t hear any excuse or explanation from his brief, which would surely have been in that article if so. To rile people up.What a fucking idiot ; deserves longer than 20 month. Hopefully the poor guy recovers.
The banning order is too short.

Next time Liverpool come, we should all turn up in themHARD HAT...at least...
I think someone who throws a projectile in a football ground should definitely go to prison. How long should then depend on the wider circumstances of the offending, as well their antecedents and consideration for an early admission of guilt, and any palpable remorse. If they have an associated criminal history and have a trial and the object was brought into the ground with the intention of projecting it, then the sentence should be severe. Don’t have a problem with, say, 8 years in that instance. It’s fucking crazy launching projectiles into a crowd. I remember away at Forest, some dickhead launched a winegum into the City fans. He was banned for it. He couldn’t believe it as it was only a wine gum.
