fearless so far which is great, besides the technical and tactical ability you gotta have balls and personality to play pep ball.

Im not convinced………….Of his age.

I think he needs one of those bone scans, he’s playing with the maturity of someone who’s had 10 premier league seasons.

I’m a massive fan.
I could not agree with you more. I text my dad against Everton and said it seems like this guy has been playing for 10 years.

He’s definitely a great player with huge potential, but not 100% on this 3CB and him.

A quick transition in added time and Chelsea had an overload of 4 v 3 which was wasted.

Still see Walker as the go to in the bigger games at this point, although certain games I feel will suit Rico better.

The level of trust Pep has in him, plus how our players pass to him in tight spaces. Is the biggest indication that he will be a star, just think some of this now first choice is a bit OTT.

So happy for him and his family. It must be one thing to see a loved one being handed a chance or two but it's another thing entirely when you see how much of a difference he makes against top quality players.
I deleted that convo, I shouldn't really be sharing private messages..! Glad you saw it tho.
I've been promised a match worn signed shirt, it'll take pride of place on my wall..!

"This young boy has the ability and quality to not just play good, but to make his mates better. This is so difficult to find," said a delighted Guardiola.

"When he came in Rodri played better, Kevin played better, Riyad played better, he has the talent to do this. Since we came back he is playing and right now he is fundamental to us, he’s a key player for us the way we’re playing right now.

"The dynamic for Rico - tac-tac, move, right, left, inside - helped everyone have that rhythm, that’s why he changed the game. He changed the game with his dynamic from minute one."

You lucky fucker!

I haven't bought a kit in about 15 years but if he keeps this up I'll be getting one with his name and number on.
I've been friends with his family especially his grandparents for many years. Finally met him over Christmas, he's such a humble and down to earth friendly lad. No danger of it all going to his head. Doesn't drink or anything either, playing for City is a dream come true for him, he's one of us.

I keep thinking how the fck is he so good, then I remember hes had the very best coaching almost his whole life. He is essentially 10yrs ahead of most players when they kick a ball because he has been coached to play this way. Passing, movement, position changes are all natural to him because its what we do right through the academy.
