Are City a better all round team without Haaland?

Some might say....
Not better but different.

Play Haaaland, KDB and Gundogan (for example) and you probably aren't going to be able to maintain an intense press like you could with Alvarez, Foden and Bernardo but you will get Gundogan's control, KDB's passing and Haaland's finishing.

Two different approaches, each with their own merits.

I don't think so. I think we have fucked about recently with the formation, playing too many centre backs and players out of position. In a 4 - 3 - 3, or 4 - 2 - 3. - 1 and with our best players in their correct position. We will be absolutely devastating.

One thing I will say, I think we would be even better if we had got Kane, rather than Haaland.

Kane wouldn't have had the pens he's had were he wearing a sky blue shirt, and he wouldn't be ahead of Haaland's tally!

Today and against Forest we seemed to play with a little more freedom? Haaland and Alvarez were superb against Forest. I thought we were great today but Chelsea were white. In a big game I’d want Haaland in the team.

I think Kane is a better all round player. Hes got a better touch, better technique, better in the air and just as good a finisher. He's not got the physical attributes or brute force Erling has, but I think Kane would have been the perfect fit for us.
