Love the hot takes about the lineup here. Imagine we played Haaland and he picks up an injury - or we sacrifice fitness for our best players for this game over the Rags - how much flack would you be giving Pep then?

Clearly we aren't playing fucking Philips, Palmer et al because they impressed in training or some shit - the derby is being prioritised as well it should be.
I would expect a bunch of elite professionals who is being paid millions to be in good enough shape, to be able to play Wednesday and Saturday on the rare occasion when we have a quarter final and a derby in a short period of time. Didnt realize they all are in such poor condition and made of glas that they need 6 day minimum rest if they run around for 90 mins. Maybe we should think of employing someone to help them with their extremely bad fitness if thats the case.

Everyone slagging Gomez off seems to have forgotten the game we played on Sunday where he didn't look out of place in the team that demolished Chelsea.
Mate he is not at the level required. I think we are finding out the squad has a few useless players.

No exaggeration to say that’s probably the worst half of football that we’ve played in six and a half years under Guardiola. Absolutely dire stuff. Not a single player has played well. Feel for those who’ve made the trip.
It's cool he's going to get his hairdryer out.

Oh.

Or just play him regularly and in his preferred position.
Love this, always seems to be the go to comment wherever he's playing

Play him on the left, people say he needs to play Central

I genuinely wish a lot of City fans would just accept that he isn't as good as we thought he would be, and never will be

Absolute fucking shambles
Don't get the hype with Palmer, Gomez and Phillips fucking terrible
A shocking team selection
