Said it on Sunday, Phillips needs to stop standing still for a second after playing every pass - long or short. Needs to be constantly on the move and showing for it

He has been brilliant at finding someone to mark him when we have the ball. Couldn't find space in the Sahara. He would be the guy stood next to omar sharif and he's not been mobile for years.

Agreed but when he gets good chances, he just fucks it up every time. It's not like he's lacking confidence - he's taking shots even when he should pass - but he's not scoring or coming close even. Its like he has a monkey on his back and it's got to him. He just needs a goal.

Just shite tbh, shows the drop-off from a few of our first teamers and then also how carried some of the others are by the more dynamic players.

Philips looks miles off it, Gomez clearly isn't particularly good, but that front 5 all should be good enough to do something but none of them look like they've got the bottle to be the main man. Grealish would happily run the ball back into our own goal if no one kicked him before he got there, Foden anonymous, Gundogan invisible and Palmer looks so low on confidence compared to when he first came up, he now looks scared to make mistakes. Poor Alvarez hasn't even had a sniff of the ball.

Pep said he had a ridiculous game plan for the rags. Maybe he's decided to implement his ridiculous idea ahead of time, trying to throw them off before bringing out the big guns on Saturday.

I was just thinking that. Still unacceptable from the players, all of them. The worst half of Pep's reign, by some margin. And every time the teams are scoring against us, it is the goal of the month/season. I just don't get Pep, what was idea behind this formation.

This type of performance seems to be occurring more frequently

4 goals only in the first 15 minutes i think they said we have had all season, just too slow starting and too much side and back passing which we are actually getting worse at by constantly messing up simple passes and passing to the opposition to set up their attacks and our midfield all have lead boots on and no pace to catch the attacking players
